H. James Clark, Jr., CPA, President | Email Jim

Jim founded the firm in 1991. After working out of his dining room for 18 months, he opened an office near Starcrest and Loop 410 in 1993, then moved the firm to its present location in 2005. Jim is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA) and CPA Connect, a national organization of CPA firms. He has participated in a variety of charitable services over the years, most notably as a board member of the Financial Literacy Committee of the San Antonio Chapter of the TSCPA, which was named Charitable Group of the Year in 2006. His expertise in IRS Collections Division representation is well known, as he has negotiated dozens of settlement offers with the IRS, set up hundreds of installment agreements, and has successfully defended clients on a wide variety of IRS examinations. Jim receives regular referrals from several CPAs and attorneys in and around San Antonio when their clients need an experienced negotiator to help resolve their IRS problems.


Jim’s primary function is the management and oversight of all aspects of the firm, the review of all tax returns prepared by the firm, and the preparation of tax returns and financial statements that are of a complex nature.
